I don’t think I’ve ever felt multimedia to be too small an umbrella before ‒ but when Ed lets you see what he’s capable of in that sphere, the word starts to feel awful restrictive. Just as the Events teams have a way of binding the people and the experience together, Ed has a way of binding the technical aspects and communication channels together and make it all harmonious like a kind of digital poetry. I can’t not quote him when he quips, ‘I program and design across all media and platforms, through galaxies and on dancefloors.’ Even this seems modest for a man with the video credentials to have won him two awards in international film festivals for his producing and editing. Whether it’s the elegant UI you encounter on a mobile app, or flawless slice of video honed to perfection ‒ Ed’s touch and sage experience are something anyone at MCCGLC would tell you are impossible to do without. He concludes by bluntly informing me he would be modelling a life-size Godzilla in his basement if he had one. Someone give this man a basement.
